Saying thanks to his Team Prince hotels

As the saying goes, ‘time flies when you're having fun’. Time sure has flown by this year with the holiday season upon us. Enjoy your time with family and friends, bask in the MAGIC of the holiday season. Reflect on past memories you hold closely to your heart and keep the new memories you create in the present for as long as you can.

Team, "give me a place to stand," said Archimedes, "and I will move the world." At this very moment many of you and your teams are hard at work around the country in constant motion serving the guests being good stewards of the community. Our commitments leave a lasting and positive impact as every action counts, big and small. Thank you!

As we celebrate the holidays starting with Thanksgiving, I hope you feel the passion to continue to advance the heart of Hospitality to one and all in meaningful ways. Have I not commanded you to be strong and courageous? Be upright and honest, no matter the hardships, we will never lose our character and integrity. The integrity of a person is the foundation of one’s life. The aim of our company is to put in practice leadership skills with moral and ethical values as we do not lose our soul. Faith is about discovering purpose, with us you get three things at a minimum: you get learning, you get a network and most importantly you get a sense of who you are, a vision and a sense of mission. St Francis of Assisi said, "start by doing what is necessary, then what is possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible."

I am immensely grateful to my mother, a remarkable woman whose life lessons are an example for all. She is a strong believer in reading.  She always read to us and now her grandsons because it makes you use your brain, builds self-esteem, improves creativity, increases your vocabulary and makes you smarter. Mom has volunteered for 30-plus years at Community Schools and many other Hindu temples and Sikh gurdwaras over her lifetime. She said she always wanted to do good.  “You have to do something good for your community.” People who volunteer and help others have a healthier outlook on life.  They are more inclined to be go-getters and consistently report being happier. Through volunteering she met many great friends, so she understands the importance of networking and friendship.  She is so thankful and grateful for all her friends, and she tries to never take advantage of them. Mom says “Life can’t be all good.  You have to have ups and downs.” If you aren’t happy, her advice is to find something else.  Life is too short and the ultimate purpose of business is, indeed, to produce happiness.

Finally, can you thaw a turkey in the dishwasher, under an electric blanket, or, um, in the pool? call the HOTLINE--As each year from Nov. 1 through Christmas Eve, 50 Butterball Turkey experts ease more than 100,000 nervous cooks through their Thanksgiving meal. They respond by phone and even through text, email or live chat to help you avoid cooking disasters. What started as a marketing gimmick 38 years ago has turned into a cornerstone of Americana. “People can be just paralyzed with fear,” said one turkey expert. “All they usually need is someone who takes the time to be personal and sympathetic.” How much do you know about turkey pardons, football and the dangers of deep-frying a gigantic bird? You may quiz them.

Have a calm, cool and collected night. HAPPY THANKSGIVING 2019!

Have a festive end to your week.
