Multifaith observance marks Mahatma Gandhi's 70th Punya Tithi
The volunteers of Shanti Fund successfully hosted an observance event to mark the 70th Punya Tithi (death anniversary) of Mahatma Gandhi with a multifaith program befitting his dream of communal harmony. The event held on January 29th at Suffolk County Executive Office Building, Long Island, NY saw participation from members of various faiths including Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Jains, Bahai, Buddhist and Islam.
