New York: Three Indian restaurants in the US are celebrating this Diwali with great joy, especially because they were awarded the prestigious Michelin star for their exceptional food offerings, are Rania in Washington DC led by Chef Chetan Shetty, Semma in New York City by Chef Vijay Kumar, and Indienne in Chicago by Chef Sujan Sarkar.
Renowned celebrity chef, cookbook author, and TV personality Vikas Khanna shared his excitement on social media. His restaurant, Junoon in NYC, was awarded a Michelin star in 2011 and kept it for the following six years.
He underscored that these accolades constitute a noteworthy acknowledgment of Indian cuisine and hospitality.
