6700+ globally to attend virtual JAINA Convention 2021

New York: The Federation of Jain Associations in North America (JAINA) will be celebrating its 21st Convention on the Fourth of July weekend — from July 1st to 6th, 2021. This year, the virtual event is planned to be a global event and is expected to attract an even larger audience from the USA, Canada, India, UK, Australia, UAE and many other countries. The theme for this year’s Convention is “Jainism: A Resilient Path to Peace.” 

With 250+ volunteers working to make this convention a success, Public Relations and Media Committee Co-Chair Jignesh Jain of Chicago is thrilled to announce the ongoing addition of new events, programs and speakers – significantly elevating the anticipation of the entire team for the Convention.

Key Highlights include: Registration reached at 6760, from 20+ countries; Address by His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama; Mahavir Ek Alokik Katha – an epic dance ballet on the life of Mahavir Swami; Dayro & Bhakti by Osman Mir, Sairam Dave, Aditya Gadhvi, Geeta Rabari, and other prominent famous Dayro singers; 55+ other Spiritual Speakers and Thought Leaders; 130+ sessions and 10+ programs spread from July 1st – July 6th; High-caliber humorous Hindi drama Rang De Sanskar acted, and directed by Siddharth Randeria; First-time ever Narrated Tour (Tirthdham Darshan) of 12 sacred Jain places in India using cutting-edge drone A/V technology; Sunheri Yaadein – A Bollywood concert featuring 40 years of Bollywood melodies to celebrate 40 years of JAINA from a grand stage in Mumbai, India; Festivities of the World, a cultural show performed by members from 70+ Jain Centers across the US to showcase their talent and vibrancy; and Jain Connect Fireside Chat with Netflix’ Indian Matchmaking Cast.
