The so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” is anything but. It’s a raw deal for working families and a serious blow to our healthcare system. This bill guts nearly a billion dollars from Medicaid and kicks almost 12 million people off their health insurance. That’s not reform—it’s a direct hit on the people who need help the most.
Here in New York, over 7 million of our neighbors rely on Medicaid. Hospitals, clinics, and frontline providers count on that funding to care for our communities. When we weaken healthcare for the many, we all pay the price—no matter our income.
