The Indian Consulate in New York hosted a roundtable on the 'India-US Partnership on Technology and Finance for Climate Action'. Former Secretary of State and Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry, USTDA Director Enoh T. Ebong, Dy Secretary of State Amb. Richard Verma, Assistant Secretary of State for Energy Resources Amb. Geoffrey Pyatt, Sumant Sinha, Founder and chairman, ReNew spoke on the huge progress India has made on renewables and climate action. The roundtable emphasized India and US’s shared commitment to building a green economy, scaling renewable technologies, and fostering public-private partnerships. The event also featured the launch of the report ‘Strengthening India-US Relation on Climate Action’.
