Acharya Lokeshji inaugurates ‘Gandhi Memorial Lecture Series’

New Delhi: On the occasion of International Day of Non-Violence and 152nd Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, World Peace Ambassador, Jainacharya Dr. Lokeshji and Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji inaugurated and addressed a webinar on 5 days “Gandhi Memorial Lecture Series” organized by Gandhi Mandela Foundation. In this webinar, discussions were held on spreading the thoughts of Mahatma Gandhi in the present time and a large number of people connected through online medium. 

While inaugurating the lecture series, Jainacharya Dr. Lokeshji, the Founder of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti said that on the 152nd Anniversary of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, let us all take a pledge that ideals like truth, non-violence, harmony, equality, unity, cleanliness will be included in our lives. “For this, we need moral education and training of non-violence.”  

President of Parmarth Niketan Swami Chidanand Saraswati said that Mahatma Gandhi made many efforts for non-violence, peace, nation building, cleanliness, environmental protection and moral education in the society. Social organizations who are working in this direction play an important role in taking forward the ideas of Mahatma Gandhi and we should work with them. On this occasion, the organizer of the webinar Bhagi Nanda Sandilya, the vice president of Gandhi-Mandela Foundation, USA and advocate Nandan Jha, secretary general expressed their views on the lecture series. Shailesh Singhal introduced Acharya Lokeshji and Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji.
