New York: The Association of Indians in America (AIA-National) held a seminar on tax planning in Long Island on Dec 19. The seminar was attended by many eminent individuals, past National Presidents and Chapter Presidents of AIA, executive committee members, and community leaders.
Consul (Trade) Manish Kulhary from the Indian Consulate was the Guest of Honor at the event.
“We brought eminent speaker Cecil Nazareth, who is expert on National and International Taxation and Accounting and has done many seminars all over the world. He has also authored the book titled International Tax and Compliance Handbook with special emphasis on India-U.S. taxes,” said Gobind Munjal, National President of AIA. “Other experts at the event included Michael Markhoff, Patrick Scanlon, Patrick Ryder, and Kapila Datt,” he added.
Consul (Trade) Manish Kulhari in his speech appreciated the AIA National’s effort to do this type of informational and educational seminars for the benefit of the community. The Association of Indians in America (AIA) is the oldest not-for-profit organization of Asian Indians in America founded in 1967.
