Aparna Gupta appointed Microsoft’s Global Delivery Center Leader

Microsoft has appointed Aparna Gupta as the new leader of its Global Delivery Center (GDC), marking a significant step in its pursuit of operational excellence and global service innovation. Gupta, armed with over 25 years of experience and a Master’s in Engineering Sciences from IIT Bombay, is all set to elevate Microsoft’s delivery center operations. 

The GDC, since its inception in Hyderabad in 2005, has been pivotal in offering top-notch delivery solutions globally, expanding its reach to Bengaluru, Noida, and beyond. Aparna Gupta’s role will focus on driving customer innovation, enhancing cloud growth, and harnessing top-tier talent and industry expertise.

Gupta’s journey is nothing short of inspiring. From her early days in a biotech lab working on a malaria vaccine to leading FirstRain Inc India, and then making a mark in Microsoft’s Commercial Software Engineering, her career trajectory showcases a blend of technical brilliance and visionary leadership. As the new head of GDC, she aims to deepen technical expertise, foster a strong team culture, and take Microsoft’s service delivery to new heights.
