Late Hollywood star Audrey Hepburn and Princess Diana were iconic figures in their own right. Their enduring styles continue to influence and inspire generations. Now you can purchase pieces from their designer wardrobe, thanks to auction house Julien’s, which is hosting a three-day event named Legends: Hollywood and Royalty. In this auction, dresses from Audry, Diana and other iconic figures will be up for grabs.
Among the offerings is Audrey Hepburn’s bubblegum pink midi dress, famously worn in her role as Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. The dress was originally designed by Hubert Givenchy for his autumn/winter 1960 collection in black.
The dress holds poignant significance in a scene from the film and is estimated to be sold between $200,000 and $300,000.
Princess Diana’s wardrobe includes prominent selections as well. One is a red Bruce Oldfield gown, adorned with gold metallic threading, which she wore to the premiere of Hot Shots in London in 1981.
Anticipated bids for Diana’s pieces range from $100,000 to $400,000.
