BJANA felicitates Padma Bhushan Udit Narayan

New Jersey: The Bihar Jharkhand Association of North America (BJANA) felicitated acclaimed Bollywood singer Padma Bhushan Udit Narayan at Royal Albert Palace in Edison on September 3 at a special event.

The meet and greet lunch event hosted about 200+ of Narayans fans, some of whom participated in a program of their own. A ladies group entertained the crowd with a selection of Maithili songs, paired with other performances of Narayans works.

BJANA president Vinay Singh presented Udit Narayan with a plaque, commemorating his contributions to music and promotion of the Bihari identity. Chairman Ramesh Patel and Federation of Indian Associations (FIA) team also joined the felicitation event with BJANA team. Association of Nepali Terrain in America also became the host committee to honor Padma Bhushan Udit Narayan. Presence of TV ASIA, MANNATV, The South Asian Times and Parikh Worldwide made the event very successful.

Udit Narayan, famous for hits such as Pehla Nasha and Papa Kehte Hain serenaded the guests with a medley of his best songs, bringing smiles to many faces. He also posed for pictures that are sure to serve as lifelong memories.

This event was held with the help of BJANA s committee members Dr. Avinash Gupta, Anurag Kumar, Sudhaker Raj, Alok Kumar, Pranit Singh, Dr. Anil Singh, Sanjay Gupta and Aditi Mohan.
