Daniel Patrick Moynihan Democratic Club endorses Karen Lin, Thomas Oliva for civil court judges

The Daniel Patrick Moynihan Democratic club had its first in-person meeting after almost two years at ICCJ in Flushing on May 26th. Mikey Fried (a 4th grader) led the meeting with Pledge of Allegiance, Chairwoman, and President of the club, Dr. Neeta Jain introduced the club’s new board and honorary board members Elizabeth Monterrosa interim Vice President, Secretary Aviva Fried, Treasurer DR. Ved V.Malhotra and member John Park.  

All elected officials including District Leaders are members of the Honorary Board. Special Guest NYS Senator John C. Liu (Chair, NYC school committee) spoke about Texas shooting and Gun Reform Bill in Congress and said that we are proud to be democrats, who care about gun control.  

Dr. Jain stated the main mission of this club is to promote Democratic values, equality, peace and harmony. At the meeting, the club also proudly endorsed Karen Lin and Thomas Oliva for Civil Court Judges. 

President Dr. Jain also informed attendees about seven delegates to the Judicial Convention on the ballot from AD 25 in Queens and asked everyone to vote for them.
