Los Angeles: The Gujarati Society of Southern California hosted a lecture by noted Gujarati speaker Kajal Oza Vaidya.
A brand name in Gujarati literature, a youth icon and an inspiration to many women, Kajal Oza has inherited the vocabulary and clarity of thought from her father Digant Oza, who has been respected for his sharp ideas and ethics in the media world at large, for over five decades.
Kajal Oza's writing is honest and clear. Her contemporaries have witnessed her extraordinary growth in a short span of time. While she made her notable debut in 2005 with her first collection of short stories, Kajal Oza became extremely popular when her first novel 'Yoga-Viyog' was serialized in Chitralekha - a leading Gujarati weekly.
The program started with Jawahar Shah's welcome and Kajal Oza was introduced by Sonal Ladwa. Lata Ahir offered flowers to the author and guest.
Kajal Oza had the audience literally glued to their seats as they listened to an interesting talk by her. In her unique Gujarati style, the attendees were left thinking about what can they do to make their married life successful.
