From bike rallies to yatras - the Tiranga unites us all

In the run-up to the 78th Independence Day, the "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign was relaunched this month, inviting every Indian to bring the Tricolor into their homes and proudly hoist it in celebration of their nation's independence. The initiative, undertaken as part of the "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav", started in 2021 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of India's independence.

From vibrant rallies to Tiranga yatras and runs, the Har Ghar Tiranga movement ignited a wave of national pride across Delhi, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Puducherry, Kerala, Karnataka, and beyond. Here are some glimpses...

Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar flagged off the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' Bike Rally with Members of Parliament at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. "Har Ghar Tiranga' is an embodiment of our sovereignty, our collective identity, and our unwavering commitment towards Viksit Bharat. It is a reminder that this century belongs to our great nation!" he said in an address.

As part of the campaign, the Indian Coast Guard (West) organized a bike rally covering the iconic locations in Mumbai. Seventy Coast Guard personnel participated in the rally that covered Marine Drive, Gateway of India, Mantralaya, and the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus.
