Top Bollywood actors Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal have teamed up for a new film, which will be directed by Aditya Dhar of 'URI: The Surgical Strike' fame. Ranveer Singh, while announcing his upcoming film, wrote, "This one is for my fans, who have been so patient with me, and been clamoring for a turn like this. I love you all, and I promise you, this time, a cinematic experience like never before. With your blessings, we embark on this great, big motion picture adventure with spirited energy and pure intent. This time, it’s personal (sic)."
Rumors about the film have been circulating in the industry for weeks, generating significant excitement and anticipation for the potential box-office success this duo could achieve. It's reported that Dhar was able to assemble this impressive cast due to his extraordinary vision for the film and its compelling storyline, India Today reported.
The film is produced by Jyoti Deshpande from Jio Studios, along with Lokesh Dhar and Aditya Dhar under their banner B62 Studios. This project follows their recent success with 'Article 370'. Principal photography for this theatrical production has now officially begun.
Aditya Dhar made history as the first debutant director to deliver a 350-crore grossing film with 'URI: The Surgical Strike', which starred actor Vicky Kaushal. His next major project stars Ranveer Singh, following his hit rom-com, 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani'.
