After taking North America by storm, the singer's successful Dil-Luminati tour begins in Delhi on October 26.
Diljit Dosanjh is set to launch the Indian leg of his Dil-Luminati tour after a highly successful run in North America, where he generated a staggering revenue of Rs 234 crore. The Punjabi singer-actor has been on a global high this year, not only with his music but also with his acting in 'Amar Singh Chamkila', which premiered on Netflix. Diljit’s standout performances, including his appearance at Anant Ambani’s pre-wedding bash and on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, have kept him in the spotlight. Now, his Dil-Luminati tour continues to make headlines.
Recently, Diljit’s manager Sonali Singh shared insights into the tour's success in an interview with Connect Cine. She revealed that ticket resellers were selling concert tickets for as much as $64,000 (Rs 54 lakh) and $55,000 (Rs 46 lakh), showing the immense demand for his shows.
While these were not official prices, Sonali explained that ticket resale has become a common trend at high-demand events. She also confirmed that the North American leg of the tour brought in close to $28 million (Rs 234 crore).
As Diljit prepares for the European and Indian legs of the tour, his UK shows have already seen overwhelming demand. The tickets for his first UK show sold out in just a few hours, and with 80,000 fans still in the queue, the team is considering adding more shows.
In addition to his India tour, Diljit will perform in Abu Dhabi, where he has already sold 30,000 tickets—a record for any Indian artist. The Dil-Luminati India tour, which kicks off on October 26 in Delhi, will cover 10 cities over two months, concluding in Guwahati on December 29. Ticket prices for the shows ranged from ₹1,499 for the Silver Area to ₹12,999 for fan pits.
