Reports suggest that actor Salman Khan and director Atlee’s much-hyped action-drama, 'A6', has been shelved. Initially expected to be a big-budget venture with either Rajinikanth or Kamal Haasan playing a pivotal role, the film now appears to have hit an indefinite roadblock. Neither Salman nor Atlee has commented on these reports.
Meanwhile, Atlee is reportedly moving forward with a new project featuring Allu Arjun. Following the massive success of 'Jawan' with Shah Rukh Khan, fans eagerly anticipated Atlee’s collaboration with Salman Khan. There was widespread speculation that the project would be a grand reincarnation drama, presenting Khan in a never-seen-before warrior avatar. However, sources now claim the project has been scrapped, with no clarity on the reasons behind the decision, according to Masala.com. Atlee has not commented on the report.
After delivering the blockbuster 'Jawan', Atlee teamed up with Varun Dhawan for 'Baby John'. In an interview with Pinkvilla while promoting the film, the director hinted at an upcoming major announcement involving Khan. “Definitely, I am going to surprise everyone with the casting… It’s going to be the proudest film of our country," Atlee shared, adding that the casting was nearing completion.
Salman, on the other hand, is gearing up to bring his next action film to the big screen with the release of 'Sikandar'. The film, directed by AR Murugadoss, will see Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, and Prateik Babbar in supporting roles.
