1947 Productions & Entertainment Inc., a leading event management company, hosted the 9th Annual Biggest Ganesh Utsav Festival of America between August 31 to September 4th at Woodbridge Center Mall, Woodbridge, NJ. After an overwhelming response from the inaugural event in Year ‘2014, the festival has increasingly grown in visitors with over 150,000 people in attendance annually. The five-day festival is marked by a massive 14 feet statue of Lord Ganesh, which is worshipped over the course of the celebrations. A vendor fair featuring jewelry, apparel, toys, food, along with dance performance show allows visitors to better experience the culture of India. Kiran Bedi along with playback singer Javed Ali and Bollywood actor Abhimanyu Dasani graced the stage during the celebration.
