Los Angeles: Hollywood Garba Group recently hosted its first-ever Garba in Los Angeles. Popular, young and talented singer Geeta Rabari literally rocked the Gujaratis of Los Angeles.
Geeta Rabari, an eminent name in the world of folk, has become an icon among garba enthusiasts of all age groups.
Her intimate knowledge of folk songs, dayras and classical nuances has carved her unique image in the world of music for a 26-year-old artist.
Geeta Rabari is popularly known as “Kutchi Koyal” too.
Rabari’s tryst with music started when she was only ten. She started her career by singing bhajans and folklore and by age 20 she had established herself as a folk artist to reckon with.
More than 1000 Angelenos attended Hollywood Garba event and played garba till midnight. Listening to Geeta Rabari, Sunny Jhadav & talented orchestra the first reaction from the attendees was WOW…she is amazing.
Leading Indian American Rajendra Vora who is Founder & President of Jain Social Group Beverly Hills and International.Vice President of 85,000-strong Jain Social Group Int Federation presented a Mataji’s Chundadi as a token of love from the community to Geeta Rabari. Both organizers Hemendra Patel & Chirag Patel also joined in presentation.
Rabari took selfies with many Garba-loving fans and she even allowed Garba fans few times to come on the stage to dance.
