New Jersey: Indo-American Cultural Foundation of Central Jersey (IACFNJ) sponsored seven scholarships to support talented students from South and North Brunswick High Schools based on their merits in various subjects.
Two students in North Brunswick High Schools were recognized in memory of two IACFNJ pillars Murthy Yerramilli, Trustee and Sunil Shah, Treasurer who passed away in 2020 and 2021. Darshan Shah, son of Sunil Shah awarded the scholarships at North Brunswick High School during the Seniors Awards Night on June 7, 2022.
IACFNJ will also hold its annual summer picnic at Mercer County Park on Sunday, August 7, 2022. The fun-filled outdoor picnic at the park is expected to be attended by IACFNJ members and residents from the local communities of heavily populated Indian Americans in Central Jersey. In addition, IACFNJ will also organize India’s 75th Independence Day celebration – “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” with cultural and patriotic dance performances and singing and local and state elected officials’ attendance on the outdoor grounds of Shree Swaminarayan Temple at 329 Culver Road in South Brunswick, New Jersey.
