‘MI-7’ grosses highest weekend box office numbers after ‘Pathaan’

Tom Cruise’s ‘Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning’ has garnered massive box office weekend collections in India. It saw a record-breaking collection next to only Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan’, the highest-grossing Indian film this year.

The Tom Cruise film had a wide release pan-India on July 12 across 3500 plus screens in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions, in addition to the original English.

The spy action film has been directed by Christopher McQuarrie. ‘Mission, and stars Tom Cruise, Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson and Vanessa Kirby, among others.

The gross box office collections of the film after the opening weekend stand at a gigantic ₹80 crore (approx) with a massive opening of ₹15 crore on July 12, ₹11 crore on July 13, ₹12 crore on July 14, and July 15, and 16 being monumental with an approx collection of ₹19.5 crore and ₹21 crore, respectively.

This makes it one of India’s highest grossing films this year after ‘Pathaan’, which collected around ₹1050 crore at the worldwide box office.
