Nabaraj KC honored among Brooklyn’s Covid heroes

Former president of the Rotary Club of Queens and current Assistant District Governor of Rotary International Nabaraj KC was awarded the Brooklyn’s COVID Heroes award by Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams. The program was held in the Brooklyn borough president office in Joralemon St, Brooklyn, NY. During the pandemic, Mr. KC was honored for providing thousands of facemasks, hand sanitizer, and gloves to the Nepali community.

Nabaraj KC is a philanthropist and an influential leader who is dedicated to public welfare in Nepal. Mr. Kc was born in Dhading, Nepal.

Nabaraj has always been very much concerned about the healthcare conditions in Nepal. Healthcare facilities and infrastructure in Nepal are not adequate to meet the healthcare needs of the population of Nepal. The situation is grave for people living in rural areas because of different factors such as poverty, superstitious beliefs, and shortage of healthcare professionals and facilities. Therefore, Nabaraj always makes special efforts for arranging free medical camps in rural areas of Nepal. Through his efforts, medical missions have volunteered to serve twice on a humanitarian basis in Nepal.
