Nassau County’s new initiative to bolster restaurant businesses

For months, restrictions on indoor dining have forced restaurants to rely on outdoor seating to survive. But with unpredictable weather and summer quickly winding down, Nassau County Executive Laura Curran is spreading the word about local Long Island indoor dining options to restaurant-goers looking for year-round opportunities to chow down on their favorite fare.

On Sept 1 Nassau County Executive Laura Curran joined by local officials and restaurateurs, right along the Long Island/Queens border, announced the County’s “Taste Nassau Now” campaign, and unveiled a series of advertisements designed to attract new customers to help keep Long Island’s restaurant community alive through the winter.
