New York loves actor Prashantt Guptha ‘bahut saara’

Last year, fellow New Yorker and Bollywood actor Prashantt Guptha made his American film debut with ‘A New Chrismas’ that was an official selection at New York’s South Asian International Film Festival (SAIFF).

This year, the actor will shine again at this prestigious New York event with his next Hindi feature titled ‘Love You Bahur Saara.’

Prashantt co-stars with two icons of Hindi and Regional Indian cinema, Revathy and Vikram Gokhale, and calls it his best role yet in an Indian film.

“Neerja and The Tashkent Files brought me a fair amount of recognition, but it is this beautiful film which I’d love to see as my game-changer once it gets its due release,” he said.

The story revolves around the love and life of an aged couple in Nainital, one of whom starts to suffer from dementia.

How the entry of a poor orphaned young man in their life changes the course of plots and paths is the essence of this offbeat drama.

The film boasts of picturesque cinematography, a fresh story, heart-warming performances and soul-stirring music.

“Earlier this year, my new web-series SPECIAL OPS released on Hotstar, followed by a short film called PRABHA KI DIARY and a feature on ShemarooMe called REGARDS & PEACE.

“To top it all off, A NEW CHRISTMAS has been non-exclusively licensed by US based The Africa Channel on which the acclaimed holiday drama will screen throughout the season,” the actor said.
