‘No one should die on a film set’: Priyanka Chopra

Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins died on the sets of ‘Rust’ in Santa Fe, New Mexico after producer and actor Alec Baldwin fired a prop gun that hit her.

 Priyanka Chopra took to Twitter to express her shock over Halyna’s death and wrote, “No one should die on a film set”.

Alec Baldwin fired a prop gun that killed Halyna Hutchins during the filming of ‘Rust’ in New Mexico. The actor said that he is heartbroken due to the incident. Now, Priyanka Chopra has reacted to the tragic death of Halyna.

Sharing a black-and-white photo of Halyna, Priyanka wrote, “I am so shook. I cannot imagine what everyone involved in this tragedy is feeling. There are no words. No one should die on a film set. Period. My heart goes out to Halyna Hutchins family and everyone who knew her (sic),” followed by a broken heart emoji.

Born in Ukraine in 1979, Halyna Hutchins was 42. Her work included the 2020 superhero action film ‘Archenemy’.
