New York City Council Member Fernando Cabrera representing Bronx district 14 has endorsed Nabaraj KC. KC is running in the Democratic primary on June 22 for City Council District 19, which includes the northeast Queens neighborhoods of College Point, Whitestone, Bayside, Douglaston, Little Neck, Malba, North Flushing, and Auburndale.
Politicians, community leaders, journalists, and local community members from the district and many immigrants participated in the program held in Queens.
Cabrera said KC is a man of courage. “I want to stand with him. During Covid he worked in the frontline delivering food and grocery. He understands the pressure. He is a businessman. KC has a great vision for society.”
Nabaraj KC is former president of the Queens Rotary Club and current assistant district governor of the club. He has received Covid Hero award from Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adam for providing thousands of facemasks, hand sanitizer, and PPE to the Nepali community during the pandemic.
KC lives in Queen’s College Point, with his wife and two children.
