BJP’s second list of candidates for MP polls out

Three Union Ministers – Narendra Singh Tomar, Prahlad Singh Patel and Faggan Singh Kulaste – have made it to the BJP’s second list of candidates for Madhya Pradesh polls. The party is yet to announce the name of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

So far, the BJP has declared candidates for 78 seats out of total 230 assembly seats. Its first list of 39 names was released in August. Madhya Pradesh is one of five states, along with Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Telangana and Mizoram, which are scheduled to go to polls later this year. Only one of these states has a BJP government.
