After Sunny Deol’s son Karan Deol, another Deol from the third generation is going to enter the world of cinema. The Gadar actor’s younger son Rajveer Deol is all set to make his Bollywood debut. The star kid will be launched by the Barjatyas under their production banner Rajshri Productions. The film will be directed by Avnish Barjatya, who is the son of Sooraj Barjatya. This will be Avnish’s directorial debut.
Veteran actor Dharmendra introduced his grandson Rajveer Deol on Instagram. Sharing photos of Rajveer, the Sholay actor wrote, “Introducing my grandson #RajveerDeol to the world of cinema along with @avnish.barjatya directorial debut. I humbly request you all to shower the same love and affection on both the kids as you have on me. Good luck and Godbless #Rajshrifilms #barjatyas #Deols #rajveerdeol (sic).”
Sunny Deol also announced the news on social media. He wrote, “My son Rajveer starts his journey as an actor. Rajshri Productions proudly announces the collaboration of Rajveer Deol and Avnish Barjatya in a coming -of-age love story. A beautiful journey awaits ahead (sic).”
Rajveer Deol is the younger son of Sunny Deol and Pooja Deol. The star kid studied theatre in the UK and worked as an assistant director before his Bollywood debut. He has been training under the guidance of film director Feroz Abbas Khan. Talking about him, Avnish Barjatya said in a statement, “Rajveer speaks with his eyes. He has a silent charisma and is tremendously hard-working. The more time we spent talking about the project, the more I began to see Rajveer as the protagonist in my film.”
Rajveer’s elder brother Karan Deol made his acting debut with Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas in 2019, which was directed by Sunny. Karan will soon be seen in Apne 2, co-starring Sunny, Bobby and Dharmendra.
Coming back to Rajveer’s debut film, according to the makers, it will deal with the concept of love and relationships in today’s world. The film is expected to go on floors in July this year. It is scheduled to release in 2022. The announcement about the female lead is yet to be made.
