Sushil Goyal elected Secretary of Diamond Dealers Club

New York: Mr. Sushil Goyal has been unanimously elected as Secretary of Diamond Dealers Club, New York. DDC is the most powerful lobby and trading center of the diamond industry all over the world.  It has more than 1,500 members, predominantly from the Jewish community. Sushil Goyal is the first Indian American to serve this position. Sanjeev Jain has also been elected to the Board of Directors of DDC.

Mr. Goyal has held senior positions in many prestigious trade and community organizations, such as Vice President of ICA, International Colorstone Association, on the Board of Directors of AGTA, American Gem Trade Association, and President of IDCA, Indian Diamond and Colorstone Association. Of Rajasthani heritage, he has also served as Secretary of Rajasthan  Association of North America, RANA.

According to DDC’s website, it is the anchor of New York’s Diamond District in Manhattan. It is the largest and oldest organization active in the US diamond trade, and the most important diamond exchange in the country.

Sushil Goyal lives in Roslyn, Long Island with his wife Nilima and law graduating daughter Natasha and High School Senior Shruti. Nilima runs Nilu’s Kitchen, which is well known for her high quality specialty sweets.
