California: San Francisco-based Indian American venture capitalist MR Rangaswami has been appointed Tamil Nadu’s ‘Investment Ambassador’ on November 26. The initiative by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin is being praised by the Indian-American community across the USA.
Rangaswami is also the founder of Indiaspora, a nonprofit whose mission is to unite the Indian diaspora and to transform their success into meaningful impact in India and on the global stage.
Dr. VGP, president of the World Federation of Tamil Youth, USA in Chicago, congratulated CM Stalin on the appointment and said Tamil Nadu will soon become India’s number one industrialized state under Rangaswami’s captaincy.
Neil Khot, national chairman of the Indian American Business Coalition, based in Washington, D.C., congratulated Rangasawami, saying that he is an excellent and apt choice who can make things happen.
Multi Ethnic Advisory Task Force (MEATF) Emeritus Chairman Kishor Mehta thanked CM Stalin and lauded the role of IAS officer T Muruganandam, the finance secretary of Tamil Nadu in facilitating the appointment.
