Telugu Literary & Cultural Association inducts new team

New York: The Telugu Literary & Cultural Association (TLCA) inducted new office bearers for 2022 at Cotillion restaurant, Jericho, NY on January 9.

Jayaprakash Enjapuri who was elected president took charge from January 1 while Krishna Maddipatla was elected as new chairman of Board of Trustees on January 9.  

TLCA is the oldest Telugu association in the tristate area.  

The new chairman and office bearers, BOT, and president and executive committee pledged to faithfully execute the office of their respective positions in TLCA. With the aim of keeping Telugu culture, tradition, literature, arts, and festivals alive in the United States, TLCA has been established and providing exceptional services to the Telugu community around New York City for decades.

After the swearing-in ceremony, Maddipatla said his goal to was to inspire donors to make effective charitable decisions through donor-centric approach to philanthropy, nurture the TLCA unrestricted assets to provide for diverse community needs for generations to come, listen to the needs of donors, youth, volunteers, and community as a whole and collaborate to support imaginative solutions to build relations and work closely with other nonprofits and community leaders.

On the same day, the newly elected BOT team and executive team celebrated 73rd Republic Day with Indian Flag hoisting and singing “Jana Gana Mana” and respecting the heroes who brought freedom to their motherland India.
