The South Asian Engagement Foundation along with the Durst Organization displayed Diwali-themed animation on the façade of the One World Center, a symbol of New York City’s eternal goodness. The animation occurred nightly 6.30 pm – 2 am, Oct 22-24.
On Oct 22nd the New York Police Department (NYPD) performed the ceremonial color guard in honor of the festival. The community gathered outside and also said a prayer for peace, harmony and prosperity for country.
