Milwaukee, WI: President Donald Trump is seeking a partial recount in Wisconsin following his narrow loss here to Joe Biden in the Nov. 3 election.
Trump lost the state by nearly 21,000 votes two weeks ago.
The campaign is focusing its recount efforts on liberal Milwaukee and Dane counties, his campaign announced Wednesday. The counties contain the state’s largest cities of Milwaukee and Madison, respectively.
A requested partial recount will cost about $3 million.
The state pays for the recount if the margin is less than 0.25 points. The losing candidate must pay for it if it is more than that. Trump lost by a 0.6 percent margin.
Dec. 1 is the deadline for completing the recount.
