Vice President Naidu releases 100th book of Vanguri Foundation of America

New Delhi: Vice President of India M Venkaiah Naidu emphasized the need to preserve our rich cultural and linguistic heritage and urged everyone to strive individually and collectively for the aim.

Vice President Naidu was speaking at the virtual release of the 100th book of the Vanguri Foundation of America on October 24. Naidu appreciated the publishers for dedicating the book to renowned singer S P Balasubrahmanyam.

The book titled ‘7va Prapancha Sahiti Sadassu Sabha Vishesha Sanchika’ is based on the 7th World Telugu Literary Summit organized by the Vanguri Foundation of America in collaboration with other Telugu cultural organizations in October 2020. Naidu also lauded the Vanguri Foundation for organizing Telugu language conferences for the past 27 years.

The event was attended by representatives of the Telugu diaspora from all over the world, Telugu language enthusiasts, and Telugu writers, including Sri Vanguri Chitten Raju, the founder of the Vanguri Foundation of America and Sri Vamsiramaraju, the founder of the Vamsi Arts Theater.

“The day our language is forgotten, our culture will also disappear. The emergence of the internet and digital technologies provides us with new opportunities for the preservation and development of our languages. We should use modern technology to bring our ancient literature and knowledge closer to the youth,” Naidu said.
