First look of Aamir Khan’s son’s debut film ‘Maharaja’ out

Actor Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan is all set to make his big acting debut with ‘Maharaja’ on Netflix. The OTT giant released three films in association with Yash Raj Entertainment including Junaid’s debut film ‘Maharaja’, Anupam Kher’s ‘Vijay 69’ and Vaani Kapoor’s ‘Mandala Murders’.

The glimpses of all three films were packed in one video. While ‘Vijay 69’ and ‘Mandala Murders’ revealed the characters’ faces, the video teased the audience by keeping Junaid’s look under wraps but giving a sense of the scale at which the film has been mounted.

‘Maharaja’, which also stars Sai Pallavi, is said to be inspired by 1862 Maharaja Libel Case in which the leader of a religious sect sued a newspaper for alleging illicit relationships with his female followers. Junaid is reportedly playing a journalist in the film.

Junaid’s second film is produced by father Aamir Khan and will be directed by Siddharth P Malhotra. A few days back, BTS pictures from the film surfaced online as Sai Pallavi and Junaid shot together against the backdrop of Japan’s Sapporo Snow Festival. The other two films were ‘Mandala Murders’ and ‘Vijay 69’. ‘Mandala Murders’ stars Vaani Kapoor and Vaibhav Raj Gupta and is directed by Gopi Puthran.
