Delhi-based fashion influencer Nancy Tyagi dazzled in a pink gown that she created all by herself for her debut on the Cannes 2024 red carpet. In a post on Instagram, Nancy recounted her "dream come true" moment as she exclaimed: "Stepping onto the red carpet at the 77th Cannes Film Festival as a debutant feels surreal."
Nancy, who poured her "heart and soul" into creating her Cannes debut outfit, said that she took 30 days to make it.
Featuring a sequined strapless bodice, 1,000 meters of fabric was used to make the pink gown that weighs over 20kg. She accessorized her attire with a dainty necklace and kept her makeup subtle with a nude base, loads of highlighter and soft pink lipstick. "The journey has been intense, but every moment was worth it. I'm overwhelmed with joy and gratitude for the love and support from all of you. This is a dream come true, and I hope my creation dazzles you as much as your support has inspired me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart," Nancy said in her post.
Nancy received a whole lot of love from her Instagram fans and followers for her glamorous Cannes debut.
Born and raised in the Barnava village in the Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh, Tyagi relocated to Delhi before the Covid-19 pandemic.
