California: The Association of Indo Americans (AIA) hosted the highly anticipated The Great Indian Food & Shopping Fest and Mango Festival on May 9, at Bishop Ranch in San Ramon.
It brought together more than 15,000+ floating attendees from across the Bay Area for a vibrant celebration of culture, cuisine, entertainment, shopping, and community.
The festival transformed the venue into a lively multicultural marketplace filled with energy, flavors, music, and family-friendly experiences throughout the afternoon and evening.
Attendees described the event as a colorful carnival-like celebration packed with excitement, community spirit, and unforgettable experiences.
One of the biggest highlights of this year’s event was the popular *Mango Festival, where attendees enjoyed a wide variety of seasonal mango-inspired desserts, beverages, sweets, and specialty creations celebrating the beloved fruit during peak mango season.

The AIA also felicitated Jayaram Komati on his appointment as the Andhra Pradesh Government’s Special Representative for North America.
“It was inspiring to see thousands of families, community members, and leaders come together to celebrate culture, diversity, and unity,” said representatives from the Association of Indo Americans.
“The overwhelming support from attendees, sponsors, vendors, performers, and volunteers helped make this year’s festival one of the most successful and memorable celebrations to date.”
The festival featured more than 100 vendors representing Indian and global cuisine, clothing, jewelry, fashion, handicrafts, art, home décor, artisan products, and local small businesses.
The event provided a strong platform for entrepreneurs and community businesses to connect with thousands of visitors while showcasing the diversity and richness of multicultural commerce in the Bay Area.
On this special occasion, AIA also felicitated Jayaram Komati on his appointment as the Andhra Pradesh Government’s Special Representative for North America. Speaking at the event, Komati stated that he was honored and humbled by the appointment and reaffirmed his commitment to working for the betterment of communities while helping build stronger relationships between the United States, Andhra Pradesh, and India.
Several distinguished public officials and community leaders attended the festival, including Nahas Ali from the Consul General of India, San Francisco; Elisa Marquez, Supervisor, Alameda County; Marisol Rubio, Vice Mayor, City of San Ramon, and others.

The event also featured local Bay Area dance groups.
Guests also enjoyed nonstop live entertainment, featuring local Bay Area dance groups, musical performances, and cultural showcases representing various traditions and communities. Special Mother’s Day “Saree Promenade” was also organized, along with carnival rides, games, and interactive family activities.
The annual festival has become one of the Bay Area’s most anticipated cultural events, reflecting the region’s diversity and community spirit while promoting cultural awareness, inclusion, and support for local businesses.
