Jaipur: The 13th edition of the prestigious Bharat Gaurav Awards will be held at the historic Queen's Hall at Parliament of Victoria in Australia, on June 10, bringing together distinguished achievers from India and across the global Indian diaspora.
Organized by Sanskriti Yuva Sanstha, the ceremony will honor 25 global Indian achievers, including Amruta Fadnavis, First Lady of Maharashtra; Kaushaliya Vaghela, first Indian-origin MP in Australia; Dr Soma Ghosh, classical vocalist; Pradeep Tiwari, first Indian-origin Mayor in Australia, and others.
The awardees will be presented with a Bharat Gaurav citation, certificate of honor, commemorative memento, and ceremonial stole.
Announcing this year's awardees, Sanskriti Yuva Sanstha President Suresh Mishra said, "The Bharat Gaurav Awards are not merely an award ceremony; they are a tribute to the inspiring journeys of Indians across the world. Each honoree represents dedication, innovation, leadership, and service, helping strengthen India's identity on the global stage. Through these awards, we celebrate individuals whose work will continue to inspire future generations."
He further informed that delegates from 18 countries, including India, the United Kingdom, the United States, New Zealand, Canada, South Africa, Malaysia, Singapore, the UAE, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Poland, Thailand, Hong Kong, and others, will participate in the event.
Discussions during the gathering will focus on strengthening cultural ties, enhancing opportunities for Indian youth in a globalized world, and exploring how the Indian diaspora can contribute further to India's development and growth, Mishra added.
While Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma will address the Indian community through video conference, the ceremony will be graced by distinguished guests including, Mahant Dr Narreshpuri Ji Maharaj, President, Mehandipur Balaji Trust; Steve Dimopoulos, Minister for Environment, Victoria; Vivienne Nguyen AM, Chairperson, Victorian Multicultural Commission; Meng Heang Tak, Member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly (Labor Party), and Rakesh K Shukla, Chief Advisor to the Maha Kumbh.
Widely regarded as one of the most prestigious international recognitions for Indians worldwide, the Bharat Gaurav Awards celebrate exceptional personalities whose contributions have created a positive impact across business, healthcare, education, arts, culture, spirituality, public service, entrepreneurship, and humanitarian causes.
Previous editions have been hosted at globally renowned venues including the British Parliament in London, the French Senate in Paris, the United Nations Headquarters in New York, and Dubai.
