New Delhi: Stepping up his offensive against the INDIA Alliance, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has told people to be aware of their ‘dangerous designs’, during a rally in New Delhi.

PM Modi, addressing a huge gathering in Delhi, attacked the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party for denying the benefits of the Central welfare schemes to its residents.

“Four generations of Congress ruled the country, but today they are reduced to such a state that they can’t even contest four Lok Sabha seats in Delhi,” said PM Modi.

AAP and Congress have a pre-poll alliance in Delhi, with the former contesting four seats and the latter three seats.

All seven seats in the Indian capital will go to the elections on May 25.

The Prime Minister also accused the Delhi government of depriving the residents of the benefits of the Centre's welfare schemes such as the ‘Ayushman Yojana’.

He also came down heavily on the Congress for its appeasement politics and vote-bank driven policies for political gains.

The Prime Minister also informed the gathering about the steps that his government is taking to attain the ‘Viksit Bharat by 2047’ dream.

Meanwhile, campaigning for the fifth phase of Lok Sabha elections ended on Saturday.

In the fifth phase on May 20, 49 seats across eight states and Union Territories will go to the elections to determine the fates of 695 candidates.
