Prayagraj/Delhi: At Mahakumbh organized in Prayagraj after 144 years, Jain Acharya Lokeshji is honored on behalf of Sanatan for protecting the religion and enhancing the dignity and glory of Sanatan. President of Akhil Bhartiya Akhara Parishad and President of Mansa Devi Trust Haridwar Pujya Mahamandaleshwar Ravindra Puriji and Anand Peethadhishwar Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Balkanand Giri ji honored him with traditional Chunri and insignia.
Akhara Parishad President Mahamandaleshwar Ravindra Puri ji addressing the felicitation ceremony organized in the holy presence of Niranjan Peethadhishwar Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashanand Giri ji, said that Jain Acharya Lokeshji has shown commendable courage at Ramlila Maidan by risking his life to protect and enhance the dignity of Sanatan. His courage reminds us of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose and Rishi Vishwamitra. Referring to Ramlila Maidan incident Mahamandaleshwar said that when among many Hindu saints, a non-Hindu used abusive words for Sanatan Dharma, Jainacharya strongly opposed him that is why we welcome and honor him in the Mahakumbh of Sanatan.
Peethadhishwar Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Balkanand Giri Ji said that Sanatan's Mahakumbh is going on with grandeur and divinity, and is receiving appreciation all over the world. Akhara Parishad is honoring Acharya Lokeshji on his arrival at Mahakumbh and for his remarkable contribution towards unity, coordination and harmony between different religions as well as for the protection of religion and the dignity of Sanatan.
World Peace Ambassador Acharya Lokesh, while mentioning the incident of Ramlila Maidan, said that the ground is in the name of Ram Ji and the Leela was also Ram Ji's, the courage given by him made everything possible. Lord Mahavir says that one cannot be non-violent without being fearless, that is why this honor for me is the honor of Bhagwan Shri Ram, of Bhagwan Mahavir, of Sanatan Dharma and Indian culture. He said that I am fortunate to participate in the Mahakumbh organized in Prayagraj. Kumbh connects everyone irrespective of caste, religion and sect, let us take a pledge to make India divine and grand during Mahakumbh.
