New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah told the Lok Sabha this week that all three terrorists killed in the July 28 Operation Mahadev in Srinagar were Pakistani nationals - the same men who carried out the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam.

Responding to Opposition leader P Chidambaram's recent remarks suggesting the attackers could have been "homegrown" and questioning the evidence of Pakistani links, Shah said India had irrefutable proof of their identity and origin. He also accused Chidambaram of giving a "clean chit" to Pakistan with such statements.

Asserting that the government possessed conclusive evidence, Shah said two of the terrorists had Pakistani voter identity numbers, and even the chocolates recovered from them were manufactured in Pakistan.

His remarks came during a discussion on Operation Sindoor in the Lower House. "These were the same terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack. We have irrefutable proof. Their Pakistani voter numbers were pulled out. What more evidence is needed?" Shah said.

Shah named the three terrorists killed in Operation Mahadev as Suleman, Afghan, and Jibran—members of the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT)—stating that they were directly involved in the deadly Pahalgam terror attack.
