Philosophy of preksha meditation greatest need of today's world: Muni Jaykumar

Message of non-violence, preksha meditation, and humanity resonates at 'From Mahavira to Mahapragya' program.

New Delhi: A grand spiritual and cultural program on the theme "From Mahavira to Mahapragya" was organized at the PHD Chamber of Commerce, South Delhi, to commemorate the 107th birth anniversary of Acharya Shri Mahapragya.

Jointly organized by the Jain Shwetambar Terapanthi Sabha, Delhi, and the Acharya Shri Mahashraman Pravās Vyavastha Samiti, Delhi, the event served as a meaningful platform to spread the timeless message of Lord Mahavira's non-violence and self-discipline, along with Acharya Mahapragya's philosophy of preksha meditation, science of living, and human unity, to a wider audience.

In his inspiring address, Muni Shri Jaykumar Ji, a distinguished disciple of Acharya Shri Mahashraman Ji, said, "Lord Mahavira's message of non-violence and Acharya Mahapragya's philosophy of preksha meditation are like nectar for today's disturbed world. If people embrace self-discipline, meditation, and moral values in their daily lives, peace and harmony can flourish in families, society, and the nation."

The program commenced with a soulful group rendition of the inspirational song "Pragya, Mahapragya Ki Pragya," dedicated to Acharya Mahapragya, presented by Jai Singh Dugad, Cultural Convenor of the Jain Shwetambar Terapanthi Sabha, Delhi, along with Lalit Shyamsukha and fellow performers. The devotional performance filled the auditorium with an atmosphere of spirituality and reverence.

Chief Guest Kanhaiyalal Jain Patawari remarked that Acharya Mahapragya's philosophy is an invaluable legacy for all humanity. He emphasized that Mahapragya's teachings are not merely meant to be read but to be lived, and that putting them into practice is the truest tribute to the great spiritual master.

Delivering the keynote address, Senior Supreme Court Advocate Ashwini Upadhyay stated that good governance and social harmony cannot be achieved without strengthening morality, character, and spiritual consciousness in society.

He observed that Acharya Mahapragya's life values are highly relevant for nurturing responsible youth and building a stronger nation. The program was graced by the distinguished presence of Tejkaran Surana, Sukhraj Sethia,  Hemant Patawari, Bajrang Bothra, Rajesh Jain, Babulal Golchha, Kavita Baradia, Pradeep Khater, and several other eminent personalities.

A major highlight of the event was the captivating presentation by renowned poet, author, thinker, and singer Baba Satyanarayan Maurya, who eloquently portrayed the life and philosophy of Lord Mahavira and Acharya Mahapragya, leaving the audience deeply inspired and emotionally moved.

The program was skillfully compered by internationally acclaimed poet Rajesh Chetan. The successful organization of the event was made possible through the dedicated efforts of  Bimal Kumar Bengani, President of the Jain Shwetambar Terapanthi Sabha, Delhi; Pradeep Sancheti, General Secretary; Indra Bengani, Program Convener; and Rajesh Bhandari, who played a significant role in overall coordination and event management.

Sukhraj Sethia, General Secretary of the Acharya Shri Mahashraman Pravās Vyavastha Samiti, Delhi, described the program as much more than a birth anniversary celebration.

He said it was a powerful public awareness initiative dedicated to spreading Acharya Mahapragya's vision of preksha Meditation, non-violence, morality, human unity, and spiritual awakening to every section of society.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of devotees, academicians, industrialists, social workers, youth, and women from Delhi-NCR and other regions.

The program concluded with the Mangal Path and a collective message of goodwill, inspiring participants to embrace the ideals of spiritual awareness, ethical living, non-violence, and universal humanity in their everyday lives.

The celebration emerged as a meaningful tribute to the enduring spiritual legacy flowing from Lord Mahavira to Acharya Mahapragya, reaffirming the timeless relevance of their teachings for the modern world.
