Washington: Ending all speculations, US President Joe Biden and his campaign managers have announced not to have any additional debates with rival Donald Trump.

While former US president Trump’s campaign had agreed to two additional presidential debates with Potus, Biden’s campaign apparently declined the offer, according to multiple reports.

Trump’s campaign spokeswoman Danielle Alvarez criticised the President's decision not to go for either the NBC News-Telemundo debate or the Fox News VP debate.

On his Truth Social platform, Trump said he agreed to a fourth Presidential debate against Biden hosted by NBC and Telemundo, along with Fox News’ VP debate at Virginia State University.

“The debate about debates is over. No more games,” a Biden campaign official was quoted as saying in reports.

Earlier this week, Trump and Biden had announced plans to attend two presidential debates – one by CNN in Atlanta on June 27 and another by ABC News on September 10.

In a statement, Biden campaign chair Jen O'Malley Dillon said there will be “no more debate about debates.”

“No more games. No more chaos, no more debate about debates. We’ll see Donald Trump on June 27th in Atlanta — if he shows up.”
