• The US moved to act against the International Criminal Court (ICC) over its prosecution of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, imposing sanctions on a French judge and others involved in the court's investigations. Secretary of State Marco Rubio criticized the court for investigating US and Israeli citizens without the consent of either country.

• Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard announced a sweeping overhaul of the nation’s intelligence operations this week, revoking the security clearances of 37 current and former intelligence officials and slashing more than USD 700 million from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) budget.

• President Donald Trump has ordered his teams to go after what he called “woke” content at museums. In a Truth Social post, he called for a review of Smithsonian Institution museums, criticizing their portrayal of US history as "horrible" and saying they focus too much on "how bad slavery was".

• Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey has been named the Federal Bureau of Investigation's (FBI) co-deputy director, alongside the law enforcement agency's current second-in-command, Dan Bongino.
