In July this year, the Department of Posts released a commemorative postage stamp to mark the Silver Jubilee of Kargil Vijay Diwas, at Dras in Kargil. Celebrating the 25th anniversary of India's resounding victory in the Kargil War, the stamp pays homage to the unmatched bravery, determination, and sacrifice of Indian armed forces.
In August, Union Ministers Jyotiraditya M Scindia and Mansukh Mandaviya released a set of commemorative postage stamps to celebrate the XXXIII Paris Olympics. The commemorative stamp has been designed to capture the spirit of the Olympics, symbolizing unity among nations through sports and reflecting India's rich sporting heritage.
In the same month, India Post unveiled a commemorative stamp featuring renowned wildlife filmmaker Subbiah Nalla Muthu. It is the first postal stamp cover in India dedicated to a wildlife filmmaker. “The release of this stamp cover featuring me with a tiger is a complete surprise and an incredible honour... This stamp is not just a recognition of my work, but a tribute to the majestic creatures who inhabit our world and the shared responsibility we have to ensure their survival," Muthu told TOI.
In November, President Droupadi Murmu released a commemorative coin and postage stamp on the occasion of 75 years of the Constitution of India at Samvidhan Sadan. The commemorative coin and stamp were dedicated to the 75th anniversary of adoption of the Constitution of India.
