Seven-time Grammy and Academy Award-winning musician Jon Batiste is set to make his India debut with live performances in Delhi and Mumbai this year. He will be performing in Delhi-NCR on November 24 and Mumbai on November 26. This marks the globally acclaimed artist’s first-ever concert in the country.
The Delhi-NCR show will take place in the Plenary Hall, Bharat Mandapam, with pre-sale tickets opening on September 3 at 11 am, followed by general on-sale from September 5 at 11 am. Ticketing details for the Mumbai show will be announced later.
Batiste, who previously won an Academy Award for Pixar’s 'Soul' and served as bandleader and musical director of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert for seven years, expressed excitement about his upcoming India tour.
“India’s musical spirit has always inspired me. I’m beyond thrilled to finally perform in Mumbai and Delhi,” Batiste said. “This tour is about sharing joy, stories, and sounds that bring us together, and I can’t wait to experience that magic with all of you in India," he said.
