On his latest trip to Ladakh, Sunny Deol had the opportunity to meet the Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama. The Bollywood actor shared a photo with him on his Instagram account on July 28. In the picture, the Dalai Lama is seen lovingly holding the actor’s hand and touching it to his forehead, while the actor bows in front of the Tibetan spiritual leader with utmost respect.
In the caption of the post, the actor wrote, “A moment of deep honor and gratitude. Met His Holiness, the Dalai Lama, during my journey through the serene landscapes of Ladakh. His presence, wisdom, and blessings filled my heart with peace. Truly unforgettable." The 14th Dalai Lama, who resides in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, was seemingly at a Buddhist monastery in Ladakh during the same time when Sunny Deol visited.
Currently, Sunny Deol is gearing up for the release of the period drama 'Lahore 1947'. Starring Preity Zinta, Shabana Azmi, Ali Fazal, and Abhimanyu Singh, the film is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. Although it was scheduled to be released this year, the film has been delayed due to production issues. Besides this, the 67-year-old actor also has 'Border 2' in the pipeline, featuring Varun Dhawan, Ahaan Shetty, and others.
