Bollywood actor Abhishek Banerjee is currently riding high on success for his performance in the critically acclaimed film 'Stolen', which still continues to generate waves on the global stage. The film has officially been nominated for two categories at the upcoming Asian Academy Creative Awards 2025 for Best Feature Film (Fiction) and for Best Director.

Banerjee, while getting excited by the news, stated, “Stolen was always made for a universal audience and to be nominated for two categories at such a prestigious international award it’s truly a matter of pride! Best film and best director also tell you the kind of production it’s been. it was always the vision of Gaurav (producer) and Karan Tejpal (director). And thanks to their guts, 'Stolen' is representing India at such a prestigious event. Also, this is the only Indian film to be competing against such wonderful films across Asia. Proud moment for the team.”

Set in rural India, 'Stolen' stars Banerjee alongside Shubham Vardhan and Mia Maelzer. The film follows two brothers who embark on a mission to help a woman rescue her abducted child.

Stolen will face stiff competition in the Best Feature Film (Fiction) category, with contenders including 'Lembayung' (Indonesia), 'Bullet Train Explosion' (Japan), and 'Though Dead, Still Alive' (Taiwan).
