Jaipur: The 17th edition of the prestigious ‘Jaipur Jewellery Show’ (JJS) will be held from December 24 to 27 at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC) at Sitapura. JJS Chairman Vimal Chand Surana said that the theme of the 4 day long grand event would be ‘Inspire to Create a Fashion Statement’. JJS – the most awaited event of the year gives a boost to the industry again.
Surana further informed that the last edition of JJS had more than 800 booths in 2 lakh square feet area. It had all the arrangements for the culmination of skilled artisans, expert sellers, keen buyers and enthusiastic visitors. The show will again have hundreds of booths of Gemstones and outstanding Fine Jewellery. Apart from displaying luxurious gemstones, contemporary and traditional jewellery will also be showcased at JJS. In addition, more than 500 top jewellery retailers from India are exhibitors in JJS as regular.
JJS Secretary, Rajiv Jain said that JJS popularly known as ‘The December Show’ has become an important event of the country with around 40,000 quality national and foreign visitors. This year due to pent up demand for gem and jewellery we have much higher queries for the show, added Jain.
JJS continues to be a complete show for people of all budgets, displaying gold, silver, platinum, brass and other precious metals, as well as diamonds, emeralds and about 300 coloured gemstones. ‘Kundan Meena’ which is the speciality of Jaipur and Rajasthan is most sought after due to its uniqueness. Other areas related to gems and jewellery will also be a part of the show. There will be an ‘Exhibitors’ Meet’ soon to brief the exhibitors about Covid protocol.
JJS spokesperson Ajay Kala informed that JJS is reflective of the brand of Jaipur to the world. It is the No 2 gems and jewellery show of the country for which jewellers wait patiently to launch their new products. Moreover, NRIs plan their visit to Jaipur around JJS just to be a part of the show and behold its masterful creations. JJS 21 will have easy facilitation this year for the convenience of the buyers and jewellers (B2B) coming to the show. The show has generated extraordinary interest from consumers as well.
