Dance4Smiles proudly hosted its first-ever Bollywood fundraising dance workshop, bringing together more than 40 participants for an inspiring evening of dance, culture, and community impact. Organized by the Dance4Smiles team of Aashna Shah, Aanya Gupta, Sanvi Nair, Samy Iyer, Anjali Thomas, and Smera Gandhi, the event showcased the power of youth leadership and service through the arts.

The workshop raised over $1,000, with all proceeds going toward dance supplies for children in underserved communities in India, including ghungroos, costumes, and other essential materials. The overwhelming turnout and support made the evening especially heartwarming, as dozens of community members came together not only to dance but to make a meaningful difference.

Filled with high energy, Bollywood music, and enthusiastic participants of all ages, the event reflected Dance4Smiles’ mission of using dance to uplift others and expand access to the arts globally.

The success of the organization’s inaugural workshop marks an exciting beginning for Dance4Smiles and demonstrates the impact young changemakers can have when passion is paired with purpose.
